One more addition of latest sketches before the New Year

New anime drawing

After a long time, I have managed to create a drawing based off on anime style to the best of my ability. You can find it in the completed artworks section.

As well, you may have noticed that I have changed up the blog theme once again, so as to keep it fresh and new and ready for the new year. 2015 is getting close :) If I do not update my page again before the end of this year, I just want to wish you all a safe and fulfilling new year, and I will definitely be putting in more artworks in the new year. Peace. :)

Something new

Hi guys. I have posted another digital artwork, which took me much longer than expected to complete. I feel it isn't my best work, but, it was my attempt to approach my subject in a more realistic way. I'll be planning to do more of these in the coming months once I do start up something new, and hopefully I'll get better at it. Or, I'll end up approaching my art in a different light and tone, who knows, but I'll keep you posted. I have been very occupied lately, with moving into my new place and all, and adjusting to a new surrounding, but I promise I'll be conjuring up more artworks in the months to come.

New section added: Photo Manipulations

I have decided, after a long time, to add in a new section to my blog entitled "Photo Manipulations", where I basically use photos I have taken and morph them into something surreal. I have also uploaded my first photo manipulation, which you can find in that page. I have a couple of digital drawings which I have not yet completed, but will hopefully find the time to do. Lastly, I have uploaded a few new sketches to the Sketches page.

New sketch + digital art piece for April

At last, I have completed a digital art piece which I have put off for a long while. Have a look in the Completed Drawings section. I have also created a new sketch.

Hopefully I'll start something new in the next little while. I know I promised a drawing that reflects the arrival of spring, but we'll see what happens.

Check out the Sketches section for three more new sketches for this month of March. Spring has arrived, which I may create a drawing to welcome the new season.

More sketches

There are a couple more sketches I added to my collection; go ahead and have a peek. I haven't touched upon my art for a while, but have been sketching more often as practice and to sketch out ideas, just to keep my creative juices flowing :).

New poems + rough comic draft

Check out the Poems section for yet a couple of new poems I have created. I have decided to forego the previous comic I have been working on and focus on finishing the digital drawings I have been keeping off for a while now. The comic itself was a rough sketch to give me an idea of how to carry out the process of creating it. I have also posted this up for you guys to have a glance in the Sketches section, since it isn't a polished piece.

I will post the digital drawings first, then will decide on creating a comic later on :)

EDIT: I have posted a finished anime drawing that I have completed a few years ago; it is in the Completed Drawings section.

Three new poems

Just posted three more poems that I created today; the comic is still WIP.

I have just completed the first sketch of the year which you can check out in the Sketches section. As well, I am still in the process of working on the comic, so stay tuned for that. :)

I have posted a new poem in the Poems section. I am still working on a couple of new art pieces, and hopefully start on the comic. I have a couple of potential ideas I am going to choose from.

New beginnings

Another year has arrived, as we reflect on what has happened in 2013, and look forward to what 2014 will offer us as we once again set foot on new tidings and challenges, and the days ahead. It is also another year of new works that I will be creating and posting up here for all of you to see. One of my new year's resolutions is to create a short graphic novel/comic, or at least attempt to start it. Check back here for further details!

You may also notice that I have changed the theme of my blog to reflect a transition that I am currently undergoing in my life.
