New drawing

Hey everyone! It is nearing the end of December, and another year is coming to an end, with a new year on the horizon and much more to unravel in the coming months. I have just posted another completed drawing which you can check out in the Completed Drawings section, and will be working on another art piece shortly.

I want to thank you all for taking the time to view my blog and the artworks and writings I have completed over the past years :) My art has helped me through the roughest times, and has saved me even in times of confusion and need. I will continuously update the blog whenever possible for all of you guys to view as I create more artworks to come, and potentially a completed short comic/graphic novel by next year sometime.

Two new poems posted

I have posted a couple new song lyrics in the Poems/Lyrics section. As mentioned before, I am currently working on two digital drawings, stay tuned. :)

I have finally completed the digital artwork I was talking about before. Have a look in the Completed Drawings section.

I will soon be working on the character concept art I have mentioned previously, plus a couple new digital drawings I have started earlier.

More sketches!!

I got a fair bit more sketches I would like to upload here for you to see, just modified a few to make them more clear. They are all done in pen on a small pad of paper. This pad of paper I carry around with me all the time whenever I get an inspiration to sketch out something at that moment. Enjoy! I am almost finished the digital artwork I mentioned last week, just a few more touch ups with that one.

Another Update!

Hello everyone, it has been quite some time since I last posted, which was back in May (wow :|). I almost had forgotten I had a blog lol, but looks like I haven't. There have been a few shifts these past few months in my life that have kept me away from the online blogging world where I post my artworks for all to enjoy. But, I haven't completely forgotten it :)

In the meantime, I'll post a sketch I did a few weeks back just for the sake of keeping this blog alive, but I am finishing up on a digital drawing which I will be posting hopefully soon for you to see. I am also in the early stages of working on a couple of comics, which, to be honest, have not had the chance to explore further at this point as I have been caught up with other things at the present moment. But, once I get the time, I'll be working on those, and perhaps start on designing character concept art as a start and share here. I'll keep you posted.

Yes I have been MIA for a while since I last posted >_____< Anywho, I have created a rather rough sketch using markers, which I find really cool to use when combining it with pencil crayons especially; it really gives a different edge/feel. You can find it in the Sketches section, hope you like it!

In the meantime, I am currently working on three drawings being done through Wacom, so hopefully I'll have at least one of them up here when I get the chance, and will be doing more experiments with the marker as I am beginning to love it ^.^ At the same time, I seem to have created my own style already with it called "Marker Smudging/Blending" - combining/blending coloured pencils and markers together to help create a targeted effect/feel (though I would think it's already being used somehow out there so I can't take all the credit ;)).

New tablet work posted

Another art piece done via tablet is now up in the Original Drawings section, go check it out! More will be coming soon! Note: the new artwork is originally lighter than it is, it isn't supposed to be that dark. But, believe me, been trying to figure out how to also retain the quality from PSD to JPEG which also did not help keep the original brightness intact. Hopefully, though, you can enjoy it anyways! It's titled "Destruction".

Welcome to a New Year 2013

Happy new year 2013 to all of you! Hope it has started out good for everyone.

It has been busy for me the past while, and recently moved back with my folks (still in the process of re-orienting myself with my surroundings), but I am ready to start creating more artworks which are to come in the next little while or so.

As well, I have put up a new section called "Commission Work" which are artworks I did for past clients (coworkers, friends), and will continue to build this section as time goes by as I really am considering jump-starting a possible business in the field of freelance art, hence thought it'd be a good idea to better organize my art in this fashion. Note: some of the pieces you'll notice you have already seen will be moved to here as they were made for a couple of clients.

Again, thanks for viewing my blog for the past year, hope you have enjoyed some of the work I have up so far, and more will be coming for this year.
